OP-1 Field Controversy

Today's video is a quick one "OP-1 Field Thoughts" Teenage Engineering launched a line of field operator audio gear recently without warning and it's been getting a lot of mixed reviews. I feel like they are still creating a fantastic line of gear but I do feel like they are losing some of their original audience by marketing it as high-end boutique gear. They will always be one of my favorite brands but who knows the next time I'll buy one of their products for keeps I'm pretty pro-budget when it comes to gear. So what do you think about the OP-1 and OP-1 Field have they lost their value due to this launch or is this the beginning of something new?
